Details
What you will do
- Build and run the content calendar across LinkedIn, Instagram, TikTok and Facebook
- Write post copy: a B2B voice for business owners on LinkedIn, something looser on Instagram and TikTok
- Plan videos with our content creator: write the brief and review the cut before it goes out
- Reply to comments and messages, and handle the tricky moments, such as someone complaining publicly about a call
- Pass the questions that come up in comments and DMs on to the product team and the key account manager
- Watch trends and move fast when something fits us
- Sum up every month what worked and what we will do differently
Days and weeks
- Every day: go through comments and messages morning and afternoon, so everyone gets an answer within one working day
- Every day: spend fifteen minutes on what is moving on the platforms and in the industry
- Mondays: lock the week’s calendar and split video topics with the content creator
- Every week: write and schedule next week’s posts, and review the edited videos
- Fridays: send the product team a short note on what people asked about that week
- Every month: pull together reach, engagement and clicks, and propose what we should stop doing
Your first 90 days
- Day 30
Posts go out regularly on all four channels, comments get an answer within one working day, and you have written a short tone-of-voice guide the team actually uses.
- Day 60
The weekly routine with the content creator runs smoothly, and the monthly summary shows which channel sends clicks to the site.
- Day 90
You have ready answers for the common questions and the awkward situations, and you use the numbers to recommend which channel deserves more effort.
Who you are
- You have run a brand or company social channel and can show the results
- You write short, lively copy in English
- You have a feel for tone: you know what works for a B2B brand and what doesn’t
- You are at home in Meta Business Suite, LinkedIn and TikTok
- You know enough film basics to write a good brief and give precise notes on a cut: shot sizes (wide, medium, close-up), camera positions and angles, the 180-degree rule, the rule of thirds, B-roll
- You can tell when a video has a problem: poor light (three-point setup, window light), noisy sound (lav mic, room noise), captions spilling out of the 9:16 safe zone, or an edit that drags (jump cuts, J and L cuts, pacing). The application includes a short film-basics quiz.
